Eurotraveller Hotel-Premier Harrow

Even a strip of crimson awning can't detract from the unattractive modern redbrick facade of this Premier by Eurotraveller Hotel, which looks out of place in its surroundings. Inside, the reception area is bright and welcoming with modern lighting, polished stone floors and a cafe/breakfast area to the rear.Rustic accents and a small fountain in the corner also add to the playful vibe, while hallways are clean and adorned with colorful abstract artwork. The atmosphere at this budget hotel is pleasant and well-maintained, attracting mostly guests with business in the area as well as the occasional transient tourist.

The hotel is located near a busy road in the northwest London suburb of Harrow, which is mostly leafy. While the nearby area can be a bit shabby, the police station next door to the hotel means it's safe enough (although the sirens can be loud). The adjoining Indian restaurant means guests don't have to travel far to get their food, and the local Waitrose supermarket also makes for a convenient grocery store. South Harrow Underground Station is a 5 to 10 minute walk away and takes about 40 minutes to get to central London (Piccadilly Line), while Harrow-on-the-Hill Underground and Overground Station is a mile away.

The Premier's 44 rooms are bright and spacious, and decorated with a light peach and pastel color scheme with modern furniture. The amenities include TVs with some cable channels, mini- fridges, and facilities for making tea and coffee. Both wired and wireless Internet are available, though only for a limited time. The inclusion of U.S.and European electrical sockets is a bonus, and some rooms have pleasant views of nearby greenery. The bathrooms are basic, but they are very clean and modern. They have shower/tub combos with glass doors. Poor acoustic insulation means that traffic noise can be a problem in street-facing rooms, along with siren noise from the nearby police station.
