Every state in the USA , from Alabama to Wyoming, offers a wide range of events to entertain both locals and tourists alike. From the unusual, like the Burning Man festival in Nevada, to the world famous, such as the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta in New Mexico, each state showcases and highlights its own special features.

Up in the far north, Alaska is known for its winter events, like the Iditarod dog sled race finish and the world ice championships. Arizona packs more heat with the SalsaFest, and the Gathering of the Gunfighters re-enacting the old west.

Nearby, Alabama proudly promotes a different era with a number of historical events like the Battle of Selma at Battlefield Park, and the Anniversary of the Battle of Horseshoe Bend. Mississippi celebrates two music icons with the Tupelo Elvis Presley Festival and the BB King Homecoming Festival. Without much surprise, Tennessee also showcases a number of music festivals including the Riverbend Musical and the CMA Music Festival in Nashville.

For the completely different, Hawaii celebrates the unique Hawaiian culture with the Aloha Festivals, while Wyoming honors its own heritage with the Cody Stampede, Woodchopper’s Jamboree & Rodeo and Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Days.

From the horses of Kentucky to the jazz of Louisiana, from the seafood festivals of Maine to the surfing competition of California, from fun in the sun in Florida to the winter wonderlands of Vermont, there is something to satisfy every taste in every season.
