The Vectron Dayton Air Show
Ohio celebrates its stronghold in the world of flight and the likes of the Wright brothers who put it there. Born in Dayton, Orville and Wilbur Wright are credited as the first people to successfully build a working airplane.

Oregon
Whale Watching Events
The entire Oregon Coast celebrates the gray whale migration along its shores twice a year (Spring and Winter) with special Whale Watching Weeks. They pass Oregon during the Spring return from late March to June.

Washington DC
The National Cherry Blossom Festival
The National Cherry Blossom Festival is an annual two-week event in Washington DC that celebrates springtime in the nations capital as well as the Gift in 1912 of 3,000 cherry trees from Mayor Yukio Ozaki of Tokyo to the city of Washington, honouring the lasting friendship between the United States and Japan.

Virginia
Virginia Wine Month
In October some 15 million acres of Virginia foliage show off their brilliant colors and the winemakers harvest the grapes for crush – when Virginia celebrates the harvest at 160 wineries statewide with festivals and special events, barrel tastings, harvest dinners and wine-themed travel packages.
