A popular event for more than 35 years, and one of the main 20 4th July Celebrations in the US, the Macy’s Firework Spectacular celebrating the 4th July attracts more than 2-million people each year with some of the world’s largest firework displays set off by four barges stationed between 23rd and 42nd Streets in the East River. There are electric set pieces on the barges, and the New York Fire Department joins in with fire boats shooting red, clear, and blue water 300 feet over the river.

Southwest Airlines Freedom Over Texas
The Mayor’s Official 4th of July Celebration has been a six hour event of festivities and tradition in Houston for decades. Located in the newly renovated Eleanor Tinsley Park on Buffalo Bayou, it has become Houston’s signature annual Independence Day celebration and attracts nationally recognized recording artists as well as regional and local talent. The event culminates with a Texas-size concert featuring a national recording artist and one of the largest fireworks displays in the USA.

Red, White, and Boom!
Everyone celebrating Independence Day in Columbus gathers downtown on the riverfront for the Red, White, and Boom! event that is recognized as offering the Midwest’s largest fireworks display. The fun of the event begins in the early afternoon with several different concerts at various locations and then the Ohio National Guard flyover and Independence Day Parade at 6pm, followed by the fireworks display at 10pm after which various entertainment venues reopen and carry on.

Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular
One of the Top 15 4th July Celebrations in the USA, America’s premier Independence Day Celebration attracts close to 500,000 event-goers each year. Nationally popular, this Boston Pops concert and fireworks display takes places at the Hatch Shell on the Esplanade, an outdoor concert venue next to the Charles River in downtown Boston. This is one of Boston’s most famous and popular events. The live performance by the Boston Pops Orchestra and appearances by special guests is televised nationwide. Attendees collect on the Oval, the lawns in front of the Hatch, or along the Charles River Esplanade, for the evening concert at 8:30pm which concludes with the fireworks at 10:30pm.
