Complete with music and participators in lavish and original costumes, the Philadelphia Mummers Parade features more than 10,000 elaborated attired men and women strutting along the parade route to the climax of the event at City Hall where the official judging takes place.

New Orleans, Louisiana

Indianapolis is largely defined by the historic Indianapolis 500 and the grand community festival that surrounds it. With nearly 50 annual events and programs, the 500 Festival fuels the entire magical month of May. Independence Day Celebration
DC is one of the most exciting places to be to celebrate the nation's birthday. Where better than in its capital. The parade showcases more than 100 marching units stepping out at noon along Constitution Avenue. When that's over, popular music groups entertain from mid-afternoon until the fireworks. The National Symphony Orchestra, with guest stars and soloists, performs at 8pm. The fireworks show begins around 9:20pm over the Washington Monument grounds. Thousands congregate along the National Mall to watch the spectacular fireworks light up the DC sky.

Boston, Massachusetts Boston
The Boston Harborfest is a six-day Fourth of July Festival that showcases the colonial and maritime heritage of the cradle of the American Revolution: the historic City of Boston. Popular for almost 30 years, Harborfest is considered to be the largest patriotic celebration in the nation with visitors enjoying more than 200 activities during the Festival. Black Rock Desert, Nevada
Nevada is the host to one of the country’s (or world’s) biggest counterculture festivals every year. Considered to be one of the top 20 Nevada events and festivals, with over 60,000 people in attendance, the city created by attendees each year, named Black Rock City after its location on the Black Rock Desert. Though some participants express themselves via nudity, it is definitely not the main artistic expression. The Big E - Eastern States Exposition

Starting in 1924 as Macy’s Christmas Parade with animals from the Central Park Zoo, this popular event now attracts more than 2.5-million people and another 44-million tune in to watch the balloons, floats, bands and celebrities in the most spectacular Thanksgiving holiday celebration in the world. The three hour parade trails from 77th Street down Central Park West to Columbus Circle, then down Broadway to Herald Square.
