The Powwow is held annually in the Lone Star Arena at United Tribes Technical College, one of the premier Tribal Colleges in the United States, and has become one of the premier cultural events of North Dakota, receiving numerous awards over the years.
Representing over 70 tribes, featuring over 1500 dancers and drummers, and drawing over 20,000 spectators the Powwow has become a must-see event featuring "Champion" dancers and singers from the US and Canada competing for top honors.

Norsk Høstfest

A tradition for over 30 years, the annual Norsk Høstfest, North America’s largest Scandinavian festival, takes place at at the North Dakota State Fairgrounds in east Minot.
Norsk Høstfest celebrates the heritage and culture of the five Nordic countries with entertainment and Nordic food (from family booths to gourmet restaurants) clothes, art and jewelry. More than 200 internationally recognized artisans, craftsmen and chefs participate.

Medora Musical

Billed as the "Greatest Show in the West" the Medora Musical is held in the outdoor splendor of the Burning Hills Amphitheatre in the North Dakota Badlands. .
Named one of ABA's Top 100 Events for 2008, this western musical variety show is great family entertainment, full of high-energy song and dance routines, yodeling and clog dancing, and a star-spangled, patriotic finale.
A portion of the show is dedicated to 26th US President, Theodore Roosevelt.

McQuade Charity Softball Tournament
