ART Feast
Mid-February
Santa Fe, New Mexico

A winter tradition in Santa Fe, ART Feast is a weekend of art, food, wine, fashion and homes benefiting the art programs in local schools. The 3-day weekend starts on Friday with the Art of Fashion show and luncheon featuring jewelry and fashion from some of Santa Fe's top designers and stores. The Edible Art Tour that evening pairs 40 galleries and 40 restaurants for an art and food crawl of inspired food and art matchmaking. The events continue with an after-hours event following the Edible Art Tour, an Art of Home tour with visits inside some of Santa Fe's most artistic homes, a dinner & auction and a luncheon featuring a guest list of artists. It is held throughout downtown Santa Fe.

Native Treasures Indian Arts Festival
Memorial Day Weekend
Santa Fe, New Mexico

This is Santa Fe’s only museum-quality Indian art show and sale. Over 200 Native American artists participate, each of whom is specially invited by the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture, to represent the best and brightest of the Indian art world. Many of the artists are included in the Museum’s permanent collection in this high-quality show and sale at the Santa Fe Convention Center.

Santa Fe Opera
July & August
Santa Fe, New Mexico

The best musicians, performers and production talent from the world's stages meet at the Santa Fe Opera just outside Santa Fe every summer for a five opera season stretched over two months. Each season features either a world premiere or an American premiere plus new productions of favorite performances. The Santa Fe Opera Theater is a work of art itself; an amphitheater that makes the best of Santa Fe's cool nights and spectacular landscape.

Santa Fe International Folk Art Market
Mid-July
Santa Fe, New Mexico

One of the top 10 Santa Fe, New Mexico USA events and festivals, and the largest show and sale of international folk art in the world featuring the work of more than 150 artists from outside the US, this market is a colorful gathering of artists, musicians, foods and people from all over the globe. Many artists take their earnings from the market – which can be the most they make all year – and reinvest in schools, medical facilities and cultural strengthening in their home communities. Its location is on Museum Hill.

ART Santa Fe

One of the most important international contemporary art fairs in the country, ART Santa Fe is one of the main Santa Fe, New Mexico US events, and a show and sale of work by hundreds of artists. Galleries from Japan, Europe, South America and the U.S. display all kinds of art forms from paintings to sculptures to jewelry to glass to photography and more. Santa Fe Spanish Market
late July

This annual, traditional Spanish Market has been a popular event for over 60 years and features more than 250 acclaimed Hispanic artists whose hand-carved figures and painted images of saints on wood panels, tinwork, weavings, straw appliqué, furniture and other items highlight the Spanish heritage of northern New Mexico. Attractions of the event include regional foods and live music. A similar event held in winter takes place in downtown Santa Fe.

Santa Fe Indian Market

Santa Fe Fiesta
Early-September
Santa Fe, New Mexico

The oldest, continuously held community event in the country, and one of the main Santa Fe, New Mexico US event, the Santa Fe Fiesta dates back to 1712 and is a historic celebration of cultural renewal. Native American, Spanish and Western traditions are incorporated during events both solemn and silly that take up an entire week. Chief among the spectacles is the burning of Zozobra, a huge paper marionette that rids us of our worries. In addition the week is filled with dance, music, art, parades, theater and food marking the return of the Spanish to Santa Fe. Events are held throughout historic downtown.

Santa Fe Wine & Chile Fiesta
End of September
Santa Fe, New Mexico

A celebration of New Mexican food and wine featuring the finest 80 Santa Fe restaurants have to offer and wines from 100 vineyards around New Mexico and the U.S. Started to demonstrate how well fine wine can accompany New Mexico's savory indigenous cuisine, the fiesta has grown to include chef demonstrations, wine dinners, wine classes, auctions and celebrity foodie appearances. The Fiesta takes place throughout Santa Fe.
