Miss America Pageant
Atlantic City, New Jersey
After a move away to Las Vegas in an attempt to rekindle interest in the event, the Miss America Pageant is now back in Atlantic City where it began in 1921. Apart from offering a great time of entertainment both locally and on television, the Miss America Pageant was actually developed to provide personal and professional opportunities for young women and to promote their voices in culture, politics and the community. One of the top 20 New Jersey USA events, this pageant is now the world’s largest provider of scholarship assistance for young women.

Atlantic City Beer and Music Festival
Atlantic City, New Jersey
Another one of the main New Jersey US events, also known as the “Celebration of the Suds”, the Atlantic City Beer and Music Festival attracts over 90 different breweries, especially those specializing in craft beers, from all over the USA. Recognized as one of Atlantic City’s favorite events, now in its 8th year, the Atlantic City Beer and Music Festival is one of the country's largest celebrations of beer that also features beer seminars hosted by beer experts and personalities as well as the delicious food of famous chefs of the region.

Each year the Lambertville Shad Festival highlights the region's arts community, the City of Lambertville, the Delaware River, and of course, Lambertville’s favorite fish, the Shad. The Shad Festival has evolved from a local art show into a nationally recognized, award winning event. Shad Fest features the area's finest artists and crafters, great food and family entertainment. The two-day extravaganza also serves as a venue for local nonprofit organizations to raise necessary operating funds. Highlights include a KidZone, Lambertville Station Beer Garden, planking demonstration and a Rubber Duck Race.

Wildwoods International Kite Festival
Wildwood, New Jersey
Considered to be the largest kite festival in North America, and one of the top 20 New Jersey USA events, festivals and fairs, the Wildwoods International Kite Festival showcases large kites from all over the world taking part in night time illuminated kite flying, kite championships, a kite festival auction, and a host of kite exhibits and workshops.

Riverfest Food and Music Festival

Red Bank, New Jersey
New Jersey’s largest food and music festival, the Riverfest Food and Music Festival features three days of non-stop music, river cruises, family fun including the Children’s Palace complete with rides, games and all sorts of fun activities, artisans showcasing their handmade artwork in "Artisan's Alley”, and the best of food and samples of their menus offered by more than 20 of the best Red Bank area restaurants.

NJ Seafood Festival
Belmar, New Jersey
The New Jersey Seafood Festival in Belmar combines a culinary celebration of seafood delights with a day of fun. The annual event unites master chefs, fine artists and crafts people along with musicians from around the state. Food offerings extend from the traditional shrimp, lobster and calamari, to the more exotic alligator sausage, sushi, conch fritters, and seafood paella. The New Jersey Seafood Festival has been named as one of the top 100 events in North America. Approximately 150,000 visitors are drawn to the festival, which is held at Silver Lake Park on Ocean Avenue.

Atlantic City Air Show
Atlantic City, New Jersey
The Atlantic City Airshow features flybys and acrobatic maneuvers performed by the nation’s most experienced military and seasoned civilian pilots. One of the largest airshows in North America, drawing more than 500,000 spectators to the beach and Boardwalk, the Atlantic City Air Show takes place unusually on a Wednesday from approximately 10am until 4pm. Highlights in the past have included demonstrations from the USAF Thunderbirds, US Army Golden Knights, as well as demonstrations from current Air Force and Navy aircraft.

Wings and Water Festival
Stone Harbor, New Jersey
A popular event for three decades, the Wings and Water Festival is often referred to as a “Celebration of the Coast” and features many very different attractions appealing to all the family including a host of arts and crafts displays and the chance to meet their talented creators, including nationally acclaimed artists, carvers, quilters, crafters and photographers and to enjoy their demonstrations. QuickChek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning
Readington, New Jersey
A 6-time winner of the ABA Top 100 Event Award and named the #1 Thing to Do in New Jersey by New Jersey Monthly magazine, the annual QuickChek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning is the largest summertime hot air balloon and music festival in North America. The three day festival features the awe-inspiring spectacle of more than 100 sport and special shaped balloons from around the world taking flight twice each day over the scenic Hunterdon County countryside. The festival offers a live concert series featuring Grammy award winning artists and some of the biggest names in entertainment, a nighttime hot air balloon glow, fireworks, the Running with the Balloons 5K, hot air balloon rides, food, shopping and souvenirs. The festival attracts upwards of 165,000 people every year.

New Jersey State Fair
Augusta, New Jersey
With the initial aim to showcase the agriculture of New Jersey, the New Jersey State Fair now offers a lot more such as a horse show, free family entertainment events and activities, outdoor entertainment including a strong man contest, demolition derbies, monster truck rides, horseshoe pitching, pro bull riding, and tractor and truck pulls, a variety of live performing arts, a carnival, as well as food vendors and a beer tent. The New Jersey State Fair is now considered, country wide, to be one of the top 20 New Jersey USA events.

Making it clear with their title of Weird Week - Wacky But Not Tacky, this increasingly popular event in Ocean City in front of the Music Pier, Boardwalk and Moorlyn Terrace features a whole range of fun and unusual events for the whole family. Patriots Week in Trenton

Patriots Week is a celebration honoring Trenton’s unique role in securing victory in the American Revolution.
