Dogwood Festival

Connecticut Trails Day

Celebrating the fact that there are over 130 guide hikes across the entire state, the Connecticut Trails Day features a whole range of more than 193 exciting events including long or short hikes, history walks, kayaking, tree identification, horseback riding, orienteering, letter boxing, trail maintenance, and cycling. All the events are guided and supported by local experts from naturalists and educators to state agencies and conservation organizations.

Sea Music Festiva

Barnum Festival Parade

Deep River Ancient Muster & Parade

Antique & Classic Boat Rendezvous
late July
Mystic, Connecticut

Top Boat Shows in the USAAn award competition celebrating high-quality antique vessels built before 1965, including cruisers, sailboats, runabouts, and launches, recognizing excellence in restoration, authenticity and workmanship. More than 50 classic vessels gather along The Museum of America and the Sea’s waterfront all day Saturday and Sunday morning. Festivities conclude on Sunday afternoon as the vessels make their way down the Mystic River in a jubilant, costume- and music-filled three-mile parade.

Mystic Outdoor Art Festival

Milford Oyster Festival

By Land and By Sea: Antique Vehicle Show

Mystic, Connecticut

A popular event for 15 years, the Antique Vehicle Show in Mystic showcases more than 100 authentic pre-1930 cars, trucks, and motorcycles and concludes with the Grand Parade of Vehicles in which these old vehicles parade around the Village Green. Various extra events include all sorts of things to do with sea vessels as well as motor vehicles, from wooden whale ships to steamboats. Many more events of the two days include marine art exhibitions, music and even a haunted ships experience called Sights & Frights.

Durham Fair
late September
Greater New Haven, Connecticut
